The 135th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, is holding from 15th APR to 5th MAY in Guangzhou, capital city of Guangdong Province, Southern China.
The first day of the Canton Fair has begun to be very crowded early. Buyers and exhibitors have formed a huge flow of people. Many international friends are present to participate in the exhibition. With the theme of “Serving high-quality development and promoting high-level openness”, this year’s Canton Fair will hold offline exhibitions and normalize the operation of online platforms in three phases from April 15th to May 5th. As of March 31, 93,000 overseas buyers had pre-registered to participate in the conference, with sources all over the world, and overseas buyers from 215 countries and regions had pre-registered.From the perspective of countries and regions, the United States increased by 13.9%, OECD countries increased by 5.9%, Middle East countries increased by 61.6%, and countries that jointly build the “Belt and Road” increased by 69.5%, and RCEP countries increased by 13.8%.
Many people in charge of the booth told us that there are a lot of international interested customers these days, from Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States and other places.
With the theme of “Advanced manufacturing” as the theme of the first phase of this year’s Canton Fair, it highlights advanced industries and scientific and technological support, and demonstrates the productivity of innovation. At the site of the Canton Fair, various cool intelligent manufacturing products attracted the attention of buyers.Among the exhibitors in the first phase, there are more than 9,300 companies in the mechanical and electrical industry, accounting for more than 85%.Among so many companies and exhibits, innovation is the only way to be competitive. Some electromechanical companies have brought more innovative products through new technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data. For example, intelligent products such as brain-computer interface intelligent bionic hands, automatic navigation and transportation equipment, artificial intelligence translation machines, etc., intelligent robots have become the new “internet celebrity” at this exhibition.
Research data show that more than 80% of the visitors met more suppliers through the Canton Fair, 64% of the visitors found more suitable supporting service providers, and 62% of the visitors obtained more efficient production alternatives.
